DESCRIPTIONS:
Minor Program in the Department of Economics includes all students enrolled in the program as of 2018-2019 academic year.
In order for the student to complete the Minor Program, he/she must complete all the compulsory courses in the TABLE. If the student has taken courses in his / her department, he/she cannot be exempted, but instead, he/she has to complete the ECTS load by taking ECON coded TRACK elective courses in the curriculum.
If the student has completed the ECON.1120 Essentials of Economics course, he/she can be exempted from ECON.1101 Introduction to Economics-I and ECON.1102 Introduction to Economics-II courses, but must complete the missing ECTS load with ECON coded TRACK elective courses in the economics curriculum.
ADJUSTMENT
- Students enrolled in the program in previous academic years are subject to course matching according to the 2018-2019 curriculum adjustment provisions.
- The courses that are included in the minor program of the previous year, but which are not included in the current program and which the student has successfully completed are included in the new curriculum course load, provided that they are ECON coded.
- In the event that no courses in the Minor Program of the year in which the students registered in the program are subject to the previous academic year are opened, the student must complete the credit load by taking the new Minor Program compulsory courses, or ECON coded TRACK courses.
