Trip to Sardis
We had on-site Monetary Economics class with freshman and sophomore Economics students at Sardes, the capital city of Lydia. Lydians minted the first gold coins at Sardes.
Prof. Erinc Yeldan and Prof. Recep Meric gave a lecture on the history of Lydia and money.
